The World Heritage Sites
Ha Noi – Ha Long bay – Ninh Binh – Ha Noi
(5 Days 4 Nights)
The 5-day trip will give you an unforgettable experience with interesting place sites in the northern area of Vietnam.
Hanoi, the country’s charming capital has aged well, preserving the Old Quarter, monuments, and colonial architecture, while making room for modern developments alongside. The city may have shrugged off several former names, including Thang Long, or “ascending dragon,” but it hasn’t forgotten its past, as sites such as Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and Hoa Lo Prison attest. Lakes, parks, shady boulevards, and more than 600 temples and pagodas add to the appeal of this city, which is easily explored by taxi.
Ha Long Bay, in the Gulf of Tonkin, includes some 1,600 islands and islets, forming a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars. Because of their precipitous nature, most of the islands are uninhabited and unaffected by human presence. The site’s outstanding scenic beauty is complemented by its great biological interest.
Ninh Binh is a mesmerizing area known locally as ‘Ha Long Bay on Land’ thanks to its magical riverine landscape, with sheer limestone mountains rising up from the paddies. The best way to get a sense of this UNESCO-protected site is by taking a paddleboat tour along its shimmering rivers and climbing to the top of its fabled peaks
