6 DAYS – DISCOVERY OF THE NORTH OF VIETNAM

Duration: 6 days/5 nights
Route: Hanoi – city tour – Sapa – Cat Cat village – Fansipan – Rong May Glass Bridge – Ha Long Bay – Hanoi

DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL – WATER PUPPET SHOW (D)

Welcome by our guide, and transfer to your hotel.
14:00: Half-day City Tour to visit landmarks and other major interesting sites like Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed every Monday, Friday morning, and every afternoon), One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature. Then, visit Hoan Kiem Lake area, Ngoc Son Temple, we will take a walk through Hanoi’s Old Quarters to experience the daily life of people who are living in the oldest parts of the city as as shopping at Dong Xuan market-The oldest and wholesale of Hanoi Then, transfer to a local restaurant for dinner (included transfer-no guide clients nav dinner by themselves)
Late afternoon, visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple located on an islet in the lake. Next, discover the special Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry as well as Vietnamese folklore through a compelling puppet show at Thang Long Theatre.

DAY 2: HANOI – LAO CAI – CAT CAT VILLAGE – SAPA (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Sapa (It takes around 5 hours to transfer by bus). Arrival sapa in the middle day. After lunch, follow the road down to the valley by steps, and walk to H’Mong Village (Cat Cat Village) to work on the paddy fields and their animals, such as Chickens, Water Buffaloes, and pot Bellied pigs. You can also see the old Hydro Electric Power Station which was built by the French time in the early 20th century, and a beautiful waterfall that is a good place for resting. Back to Sapa town to visit the busy market where Red Dao, Black & Flower H’Mong, Tay, and other ethnic minority people converge from the surrounding countryside to sell their silverware and handicrafts and to buy provisions, continue to visit Sapa French Church, Dinner at a local restaurant

DAY 3: SAPA – FANSIFAN PEAK – RONG MAY GLASS BRIDGE (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel, and visit Fansipan Mountain by cable car. As you know the cable car in Sapa is the world’s longest and highest cable car, running up from sleepy Sapa Town in Lao Cai Province to the peak of 3,143-meter Fansipan Mountain, known as Indochina’s rooftop. Enjoy the view from the highest point of this incredible mountain. The lush green and subtropical vegetation makes this mountain really very beautiful. Take some pictures for an unforgettable experience from the top. After taking scenery then get a cable car back to Sapa. In the afternoon, transfer to visit Rong May Glass Bridge which means Dragon in

Cloud Glass Bridge, you will enjoy a stunning view from a height of more than 2000m above sea level with terraced fields, green tea fields, rolling hills and mountains, and spectacular cloud yards. Dinner at a local restaurant

DAY 4: SAPA – LAO CHAI – TA VAN VILLAGE – HANOI (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel, Embark on the lovely trek that will take a long buffalo path and trails, and through several hill tribe villages Lao Chai & Ta Van Villages – home to Black H’Mong and Dzay people. This is an absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the valley floors, you can really appreciate the wonderful scenery surrounding you, the walls of the valley are covered with multi–multi-layered rice Terraced Fields. After lunch, transfer back to Hanoi. Dinner at a local restaurant

DAY 5: FULLDAY HA LONG BAY (B/L/D)

In the morning we transfer to Ha Long Bay, which is about 160 km or a 3.5-hour drive away. On the way, you will see some rural areas of the Red River Delta with plenty of chances to take photos of Vietnamese farmers working in paddy fields. Stop halfway to visit a handicraft workshop of fine clothes and embroidered paintings. Arrive in Ha Long City at 11:30 AM and check in the boat. Enjoy seafood on the boat
The boat will stop at Dau Go Island for you to visit Thien Cung Cave (Heaven Palace) and Dau Go Cave (Wooden Stakes). Dau Go Cave in the 13th Century was a depot to store pointed wooden stakes, which later were used by Vietnamese great military commander Tran Hung Dao to trap and puncture Mongolian naval boats in the famous battles of Bach Dang… Return to the dock, disembark, and travel back to Hanoi

DAY 6: HANOI – DEPARTURE (B)

Transfer to the airport for the departure flight.

• Experienced English or Mandarin-speaking guide during all tours and transfers
• Private boat on Ha Long Bay (04 hours cruising)
